Beverly pulled up to her house. As she shut off the car, she didn’t move. She breathed deeply, willing away the tears as she remembered the doctor’s words.

“The biopsy results came back, and it is cancer. I think we have caught it in time, but we won’t be sure until you go through the treatment protocol.”

Now she knew how her mother must have felt when she received her own cancer diagnosis. Bev was suddenly facing her own mortality and examining her life. She is only 43, and there’s still so much to do in life! Pounding the steering wheel with her hands, she let out a wail.

“I will not let cancer take me like it did my mother! I will beat this!”

Finally heading into the house, she took in her surroundings with a new lens. She loved her little beach cottage themed home. It was cozy and comfortable. But right now it also felt lonely. Beverly had been on her own, raising her daughter Ava, since the divorce 8 years ago, but since Ava went to college last year, she had really been on her own. She had been comfortable in the space by herself – until now.

Beverly decided she would not go down without a fight. So before she has to start her treatment, it’s time to live a little. She had always wanted to go to Vegas but never did. Between work and raising Ava, she just didn’t have the time.

“It’s time to stop saying ‘I’m going to…’ and actually start doing the things I want to do. After all, who knows if I will get the chance down the road,” she said to herself.

The next day she put in for vacation at work and started planning her trip to Vegas. It wouldn’t be a long trip, but it would be memorable. A fan of the show Gigolos on Showtime, she knew just who she wanted as her partner in crime. It was late afternoon when Beverly heard the knock on her door. Time for her adventure! She opened the door to a smiling Nick Hawk who gave her a big hug.

“Hey Beverly! Ready to get this party started, gorgeous?” he asked.

Beverly grabbed her high end DSLR camera and they headed out.

They got into the BMW, put the top down, and headed out to the Painted Desert. As they drove, they talked like old friends. Beverly explained that she did not want her diagnosis to be the focus of this trip. She wanted the experience and to capture it without thinking about what the future might hold. So they agreed that the brief conversation they had in the car was the only time they would mention it for the remainder of their time together.

Beverly had been clear that she wanted to time their trip so they could be there at sunset. They parked the car and hiked for a bit, and their timing couldn’t have been any more perfect. The sun was getting low in the sky and cast a golden and red glow over everything it touched. It was breathtaking! Beverly handed her camera to Nick.

“Do you know how to work one of these?” she asked.

“I have a little photography experience,” Nick said laughing.

“Why don’t you try it out? The lighting is perfect. I’d like to get some photographs of me with this gorgeous backdrop.”

“Well, your beauty surpasses that of the desert,” he replied.

Beverly posed against the rocks as Nick captured shot after shot of her in the glorious sunset. She had always tried to eat healthy and was proud of her 43-year-old body. They were in a secluded area, and no one else was around. Beverly suddenly had an idea.

As Nick was checking the photos he took in the view finder, Beverly slipped her top and shorts off. When he looked up, she was posed against the rocks completely nude.

He let out a low whistle. “Now that’s what I’m talking about!”

Beverly blushed a little and struck a seductive pose. “Just hurry before anyone comes along!”

Nick snapped away as Beverly posed for another 10 minutes totally nude. The golden sun shining off her glistening tanned skin was an intoxicating sight. As the sun set, Nick captured several incredible silhouette shots.

They packaged the camera back in its case and headed to the car. Hand in hand, they strolled, enjoying the last of the light against the painted rocks. Beverly felt invigorated and proud of herself for living in the moment.

“That was totally hot,” Nick whispered in her ear.

The feel of his breath on her sent a shiver down her spine. The sun may have gone down, but Beverly suddenly felt hotter.

They headed back to town, trading the light of the sunset for the lights of the strip. This was an unforgettable day, and they had the photos to prove it. Back at the hotel, they decided to forgo eating out and just ordered in. After dinner, Beverly plugged the camera into the flat screen TV. “Let’s see how the photo shoot came out,” she said, sitting in Nick’s lap.

“Nick, you’re a master with the camera.”

“And you’re one hell of a sexy subject.”

As they flipped through the erotic photos, Beverly felt the heat rising between the two of them. Time, the strip, and the rest of the world faded away as the inferno consumed them.

Beverly awoke with the sun in her eyes. As she tried to focus on the room, she  saw breakfast set out on the table.

“Good morning sleepyhead,” Nick crooned. “Time to get ready for another unforgettable day.”

They ate breakfast looking over the strip below and then dressed. Nick opened the door to the car as they prepared to head out.  “Your chariot awaits, my queen.”  Beverly giggled as she slipped in.

Once again, they headed outside of town. As Nick looked at the camera case in her lap, memories from the day before flooded his mind. They drove until they reached a quiet, rural area.

“Get your camera ready,” said Nick.

They came around a bend and the rocks opened up to a large open area. In the middle, was a huge hot air balloon of red, orange and yellow. Beverly started taking pictures.

When they approached the balloon, they were introduced to the chase crew.

“We’ll be picking you up when you land.”

“Mr. Cameraman, you’re neglecting your duties,” said Beverly as she handed the camera to Nick. Posing against the basket with her round, firm ass facing him, she looked over her shoulder with smoldering eyes and a come hither look

Nick and Beverly were helped aboard the basket.

It was a glorious ride. They alternated between capturing the incredible scenery and photos of Beverly enjoying the incredible trip.

Nick slid his arms around Beverly’s waist from behind as they both gazed out over the landscape. It couldn’t get much more memorable than this.
