Your Male Companion Warms You Up

After yet another round of snow, in April none the less, you have had it with Winter! Needing a break from the grey, dreary weather, you book a trip to Miami for next weekend. Time for some sunshine! As your plane touches down in the late afternoon sun, you are so glad for your Miami getaway.  You can already feel yourself relaxing as you head into the airport. The sun’s effect on your mood is almost instantaneous. You head to your hotel to settle in and get ready for this evening.

After dinner, you head to Artistic Vibes for their Open Mic Night.  It is a relaxed atmosphere where the stand-up comedy has the audience roaring in their seats. You have never laughed so hard in your life. After the show, you head over to the James Club, an oceanfront lounge bar, for drinks. It is the perfect place to unwind. As you and Gavin snuggle together looking out at the water, you feel completely serene. A walk on the beach is the perfect nightcap. Strolling along hand-in-hand, you stop to look at the moon hung over the water like a giant light bulb. Leaning back against Gavin’s chest, the heat between you rivals that in the air around you. You feel yourself flush as you feel his lips on your neck. Instantly everything feels hotter as the rest of the world fades away.

In the morning, you head to The Grove Spot in Coconut Grove for breakfast. You need to build up your strength after last night to get ready for the day’s activities. The Grove Spot American Joe provides caffeine to help both of you wake up as you take turns feeding each other fresh fruit while you wait for your Grove Omelet and he waits for his Scotland’s Finest Eggs platter. Gavin is taking you stand-up paddleboarding at Hobie Beach. You’re a bit nervous about it, as you’ve never done it before, but Gavin reassures you that it will be fun.

There’s almost as much laughter today as there was in the comedy club last night as you try several times to mount your board unsuccessfully. Each time as you try to climb on, it pops out from under you and floats away. Gavin laughs at your predicament and paddles over to help. The feel of his hands on your waist brings a flood of memories from last night as you fight to steady yourself on the board. With his hands on your hips, Gavin helps you balance and get the feel of the board. You find your groove as the two of you paddle out. The sun and salt air gives you a new lease on life as you soak in the beauty of your surroundings and your companion. It’s a perfect day on the water. It’s also an excellent workout that provides solid core abdominal exercise as you work to balance on the board. Your stomach hurts almost as much from the laughter during your initial learning curve.

After cleaning up at the hotel, you head out for the evening, stopping first at Versailles for some savory Cuban dishes. The flavors mirror the Cuban vibe of Miami. Then you head to the nightclub Story. The club is rocking with electronic dance music, and you can literally feel the thump, thump boom in your body from the bass in the music. You and Gavin are pressed together dancing on the crowded dance floor. You feel the heat of Gavin’s sculpted body against yours, and you are in heaven. Gavin has some smooth moves on the dance floor that has everyone looking at the two of you. Aware of the attention, Gavin spins you around on the dance floor, eliciting a cheer from the crowd. The heat of the lights and the heat between you has you wet.

You opt to end the evening with a late night dip in the pool. Diving in, the cool water feels refreshing against the heat of the evening air. You and Gavin do a ballet in the pool, swimming around each other until you wind up intertwined. You’re dripping, and the heat in the air just turned up to boiling. Steam rises between you as the wetness flows around and you sink down.

Looking out the airplane window, you dread returning to the dreary DC weather. You’ll have the memories of this trip to keep you warm, and you’ll definitely be planning another Florida getaway soon!
