Originally from the West Coast, he spent several years living in New York City before eventually making his way to Florida when COVID changed the rhythm of life. These days, he’s happiest somewhere warm, near the water, with good conversation, great coffee, and a new place on the horizon.

Baron has a particular love affair with Paris and Chicago, and he’s always plotting his next adventure—including a dream trip to Japan. He’s drawn to European and Korean cinema, independent films, psychological thrillers, and film culture in general. His soundtrack can shift effortlessly from vintage jazz to moody electronic music to rock ’n’ roll, depending on the mood.

His interests are wonderfully eclectic: anthropology, geopolitics, metabolic health, human behavior, culture, and the endless puzzle of what makes people tick. He has a genuine thirst for knowledge and an unusually strong curiosity about other people. Baron believes almost everyone has something interesting to teach you if you’re willing to listen. He’s especially captivated by people with highly specific passions and niche interests.

So if you have a subject you could happily nerd out about for hours, Baron wants to hear all about it. Bring your favorite travel stories, obscure interests, ambitious projects, wild ideas, or even your favorite conspiracy theory to the table. He loves discovering what makes someone uniquely themselves.

Away from books and screens, Baron enjoys yoga, reformer Pilates, cycling, motorcycles, and swimming in the sea. He loves being in the sun, exploring new places, and learning about Florida’s native and migratory birds. He has a deep affection for animals and appreciates the little details of the natural world just as much as the cultural ones.

And then there are the pleasures of the table: Thai, French, and Lebanese cuisine, light-roasted finely ground coffee, and Japanese gyokuro green tea.

At his core, Baron is a thoughtful, attentive conversationalist with excellent communication skills and a genuine appreciation for connection. He approaches people with openness and tries to find the good in everyone and every place he encounters.
