Male Companion to Impress the Parents

One of the greatest and most common stressors in a single woman’s life in the United States is her family, especially her parents. Regardless of age, race, ethnicity, upbringing or hometown, the overwhelming majority of parents of course want for their children to grow up to be happy, but once women enter a certain age range, there seems to be this ticking clock which grows louder and louder with each passing year, and her parents as the judges and timekeepers as to when their daughter will get married. While this outdated, old-fashioned, antiquated way of thinking is becoming increasingly obsolete, thanks to feminist and individualized outlooks, in Karen’s parents eyes these ideas are alive and well, and seem to find a way to enter each and every conversation. As a never-married, extremely successful entrepreneur, Karen has found great personal satisfaction from all which she has accomplished in her forty-something years, however reaching such professional success forced her to pay the price of neglecting a personal, social and love life. Ever so sick of being asked the same questions over and over by her parents, “Are you dating anyone? When are you going to get married? Are you one of those lesbians? Because you can get married to a woman if that’s what you want”, a few months ago she told a little fib to get them off her case. However, the plan seemed to make it even worse and after telling them she was dating a man and it was becoming more serious and committed, their overbearing interest has shifted into overdrive and now all they do is ask questions about him and beg to meet him! In truth, there is no man she has been dating seriously, so after stalling and brainstorming as to what to do, Karen decided to bring a male companion to impress her parents!

Growing up an only child if a working-class family, in the inner city of Chicago, had it’s pros and cons, but regardless of traveling all over the world, arriving to a place financially where she could live anywhere she wanted and run her business remotely, Karen chose to stay close to her family and in her hometown of Chicago, as she could imagine living her life nowhere else.  While her penthouse in an luxury high rise in the Near North Side neighborhood of Chicago is a long way from the modest home she grew up in, where her parents still live, in Little Village, she makes a point to come home for Sunday dinner every week with her parents. This week, the time had finally come for Karen to bring her “boyfriend” to meet her parents for Sunday dinner, as she had run out of excuses and could not push it off any longer. As she continued pondering what she should do, the answer popped right out at her. As she was sifting through the business cards in her purse looking for a man she had not thought of they she may have met in business or somewhere along the way who would be appropriate to ask and bring to dinner, the Cowboys4Angels card seemed to jump right into her hands. The idea of hiring a male companion to bring to her family dinner seemed crazy at first, but as it began to sink in, she felt it was the best idea she has had in a while!

After speaking with the agency’s representative at length, checking out the website and all of the unbelievably gorgeous male companions, she called back ready to book a male companion to bring with her to impress her parents! All the plans were made, Adrian, a strikingly handsome male companion in Chicago and Karen would meet for a drink at 5pm on Sunday at London House Rooftop Bar, they would break the ice, get to know each other, further discuss their backstory and then head over to her parents house together. Now that the plans were set, Karen was getting so much more excited as she felt this was not only a way to impress her parents, but also maybe she could start to enjoy herself more often in her social life, have fun and live her best life! Now it was time to meet Adrian, and just as she finished ordering her drink at the bar and looked up, she and Adrian locked eyes as he walked in the door. As Adrian approached her, it was as if he was walking in slow motion, she began to feel tingles rushing through her body, and was completely taken aback by just how amazing-looking he actually was in person. Before long, the two could’ve passed for a long-time, yet in-love couple no problem, and Karen was full of confidence while en route to her parents’ home. The evening was filled with laughs, charm and most of all feeling comfortable with her male companion, who was a big hit with the parents! Whether it was helping her mother in the kitchen, trading stories with her father about politics and sports, or sharing sweet moments or stealing sensual looks with Karen, bringing a male companion, especially Adrian, to dinner to impress her parents completely revolutionized her life, and she couldn’t wait for next Sunday dinner with her parents!
