As Jess posed and smiled for the camera, she contemplated her plans for the weekend. As a top fashion model, she usually was in tropical locations for her photo shoots, not the middle of Chicago in February. She had to admit though, this was a sweet gig. It paid well and promised great exposure for her modeling career, so braving the cold was worth it. And despite the cold, there was something alluring about the city of Chicago. That’s why she was thinking about staying there to explore the city this weekend.

As she thought about her plans, she was reminded of the downside of being a top model. Despite all that people think about the glamour of modeling, the truth is, it can be a very lonely life. You are always traveling from one photo shoot to another, so you rarely get to see your home, and you rarely have the time to get involved in a relationship Not only is there little time to meet someone, but because of all the travel, there is no time to spend with someone actually getting to know them and nurturing a relationship. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could have a boyfriend just when you needed one, without all of the demands and guilt the rest of the time?

Before Jess knew it, the photo shoot wrapped up and she booked herself into a hotel for the weekend. She would take advantage of this time and see what Chicago has to offer. But she definitely didn’t want to spend the weekend alone. Maybe she could find someone to show her around. She hopped on her computer and searched for male companions in Chicago. A few options popped up, and the name of the one at the top of the list caught her eye. Cowboys 4 Angels. Hmmmm, why did she recognize that name? She thought about it, and then she remembered. They were the agency that provided companions to Kendra Wilkinson for her show Kendra on Top! Jess remembered that episode. The guys were totally hot!

She clicked on the website.  When she saw the homepage, she thought, “Damn, too bad I’m not in Vegas!” The team highlighted from Vegas that stars in the Showtime reality series Gigolos is drop dead gorgeous. As she looked through the site, she quickly discovered the guys in all the cities they covered were gorgeous. Most of them were models too, so they would understand the business.

The website promised that for discerning ladies looking for a straight male companion, Cowboys 4 Angels is the only place to turn. She clicked on Chicago to see who was available here. Wow! Who should she pick?

There is Josh, the former firefighter, now lawyer, who recently appeared on The Bachelorette show. He enjoys painting landscapes, mixed martial arts, movies, and sampling the cuisine of different restaurants in Chicago. He has a sweet innocent face with a bad boy set of tattoos, enough to make Jess gasp.

Or there is the Caribbean hunk Enrique from the Dominican Republic. He works as a private fitness specialist, specializing in fitness nutrition, women’s fitness, sports performance training, and weight loss. His passion is traveling and exploring different cultures. Oh, the muscles on this man!

Max is a Latino hottie who has lived in Barcelona, Spain and Mexico City. He is described as active, fun, outgoing and humble. Looking at his photos, Jess felt herself flush as she imagined him whispering Spanish sweet nothings in her ear.

And last but certainly not least is CJ, who looks like a total bad boy, yet cleans up really nice too. Jess had to admit she is a bit of a sucker for a six pack and some tattoos, and CJ’s made her swoon.

In looking over the choices, Jess decided on Josh and placed the call to make her appointment. Now this would be a weekend to remember! She had tonight and tomorrow to enjoy as much of Chicago as possible.

Jess admired herself in the mirror as she put the finishing touches on her outfit. Even she had to admit she looked pretty hot. She smiled when she heard the knock on the door. Just in time. Now to meet her Mr. Right Now for the weekend.

As she opened the door, her breath actually caught in her throat. Josh was even more handsome in person than in his pictures. She didn’t think that could be possible. As she gazed into his emerald green eyes, she was at a loss for words, something quite rare for her. Josh’s eyes and teeth sparkled as smiled and greeted her.

“Are you ready to see all that Chicago has to offer, Jess?”

“Definitely,” she replied. “If the rest of Chicago looks even half as good as you, this will be a great weekend.”

They headed off to dinner. Josh picked an Italian restaurant called Riccardo Trattoria. They are famous for….  They chatted easily about life and modeling as they shared a Prosciutto and melon appetizer. For the main course, Jess picked the Lobster and Crab Ravioli, while Josh chose the signature Veal Ossobuco Di Vitello dish. They finished dinner with the House Tiramisu for dessert. They were absolutely stuffed when they finished.

They decided to work off some of dinner by walking around the city a bit. After walking a bit, they came upon a horse and carriage. Josh asked Jess if she was ready for an adventure. Never one to shy away from something new, she said, “Of course.” They rode through downtown, having the sights explained to them, as Josh put his arm around Jess and she snuggled against him. It seemed like a fairy tale. The ended the night with drinks at Webster’s Wine Bar, where the two snuggled together and talked over glasses of Merlot.

When they arrived back at the hotel, Jess was absolutely giddy from the fun evening out. In the elevator, she leaned into Josh and put her head on his shoulder. She felt his breath on her neck and a shiver went down her spine. She wasn’t cold. In fact, she was burning up. As the door closed behind them, the rest of the world faded away.

When Jess opened her eyes, the morning light was bright outside. She squinted and tried to focus.

“Good morning sleepyhead,” Josh chided. “Ready for breakfast? You’re going to need your energy today.”

He had coffee and bagels already set out for them. Jess was famished. After a quick breakfast, they got ready and headed out to further explore the Windy City.

First up, Josh took them to go ice skating at Millennium Park. Jess was skeptical at first because she hadn’t skated since she was a little girl. Josh convinced her it was like riding a bike. Josh kept a tight hold on her hand while steadying her with his other hand on her back. They glided around the rink, and Jess barely noticed the cold. Just a slight touch from Josh was enough to keep the fire burning inside her. She had to admit that the skating was fun and romantic all at the same time.

Josh insisted that a trip to Chicago wasn’t complete without a taste of the famous Chicago deep dish pizza. So they had lunch at the famous Uno Pizzeria, home of the first authentic Chicago deep dish pizza. Jess couldn’t believe the gooey goodness in each slice of heaven.

The next stop was a visit to Buckingham Fountain at Grant Park. As one of the largest fountains in the world, it was a dazzling sight to see. Then they visited the Art Institute Museum for a dose of culture for the day. Time flew by as the toured the city, and Jess couldn’t believe how comfortable it all felt. It truly felt like Josh was her boyfriend for the weekend, with all of the good and none of the bad.

The grabbed a light bite of Japanese cuisine at Katsu for dinner and then headed to Howl at the Moon, a dueling piano bar, to finish the evening. Jess had never laughed so much in one day. By the time they headed back to the hotel, it had been a truly full day. They drew the shades on the city to focus on each other as the night drew to a close.

As Jess flew out in the morning to her next modeling assignment, she secretly hoped she got another gig in Chicago. Those tropical locations couldn’t compare to the heat she had just experienced in the Windy City.
