Maggie dreads this time of year every time it comes around. The 4^th of July. Sure it’s great to celebrate summer, but while everyone else whoops it up for the holiday, Maggie gets stuck in her own private hell. It’s especially true in Vegas, where everyone is in a party mentality anyway.

As a veteran with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), fireworks have a very unsettling effect on her. The cracks and booms of the explosions very closely replicate what she experienced when she was deployed to Iraq. She tries to block it out. In the past that has meant drinking herself into oblivion or medicating with anti-anxiety prescriptions. But this year will be different.

Maggie has sworn off the alcohol and prescription medications. This year she will use distraction to deal with her stressors. Maggie had been telling her best friend Jillian about her anxiety issues associated with the holiday, and she came up with a brilliant idea. Why not spend the holiday with a guy and build some positive associations around everything about the day? Maggie thought it was a great idea. The only problem is that she doesn’t have a boyfriend or anything remotely close to even a friend with benefits.

Not surprisingly, Jillian had a remedy for this, too.  She suggested an companion agency called Cowboys 4 Angels. The guys are gorgeous and could certainly help take the edge off of the 4^th of July. When she opened the door in response to his knock, all questioning ceased. Before her stood an amazing specimen of a man with a smile to light up the room. He gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek and then presented her with a small bouquet of flowers in red, white and blue. Maggie blushed and stammered slightly. It was one thing to see him on the website, but how do you respond to perfection when it’s standing right in front of you? James was beyond gorgeous with a physique that rivaled Greek gods.

James asked her if she was ready to go? Maggie said, “Sure, but where are we going?”

“We are going to escape for a little while.”

Maggie wasn’t sure what that meant, but she was definitely up for anything James suggested. They drove out of the city, and as they headed into the desert, they talked comfortably about their military service and experiences. Maggie asked about the scar on his left cheek, and he asked about her invisible scars that haunt her. They arrived at a trailhead.

“I figured one way to deal with all the noise of the holiday is to get away from it for a bit,” said James.

“Perfect!” Maggie replied.

The hiked for a little bit before James pulled a picnic lunch out of his backpack for them. The desert was perfectly still and quiet as they ate, such a contrast to prior holidays. After eating, they hiked a little further before heading back to the car. The sun was starting to dip in the sky. Maggie could feel her anxiety start to rise at the thought of heading back into the city. James took her hand in his as they drove, and she could feel herself relax.

“Hey, don’t worry. It’s gonna be alright,” he assured her. And Maggie smiled.

Once back at home, James set things up for a peaceful evening. He turned on the music to drown out any fireworks and set up some food for them to snack on. They had a variety of meats, cheeses and olives to choose from, as well as some wine.

As they sampled the tapas, they talked and laughed as if they had known each other for years. They had so much in common, it was uncanny. When a slower song came on, James jumped up and extended his hand.

“May I have this dance, my lady?”

They swayed in time to the music. There was nothing but the beat of music and the two of them. The feel of James’ chest against her cheek and his arm wrapped around her back made Maggie feel sheltered from everything. She leaned into his embrace, letting everything else fade away. He led her back to the sofa. There he massaged her neck, and then her shoulders, and then her hands, and then her back and then…

Maggie didn’t hear anything going on outside. Her flame burned hot, and the heat between them was undeniable. She had her own fireworks show as every nerve ending exploded with pleasure at his gentle touch. What a happy 4^th of July!

“How can that be if you don’t even know the person? Did it feel like a real date?” asked Jill.

“It felt like a real date, only much better. Actually, I’d have to say it felt like the ideal date. If you can dream it up, the agency and the amazing Cowboys can make it happen,” said Sarah.

“I just want a night of romance. I want to go to the opera and then head to a quiet, fancy dinner afterward. I know it may sound silly but I want the guy to hold my hand as we find our seats at the opera. I want him to….”

“You want him to treat you the way you deserve to be treated.”

“Yes. Was that how your date treated you?”

“My Cowboy was drop dead gorgeous, had a body to die for, and was such a gentleman,” said Sarah.

“So what did you two do together?”

“We went to my sister’s big 40^th birthday bash. Her husband threw this giant party in their fancy condo. All of the guests were couples, so I knew I’d stick out like a sore thumb if I didn’t have a date.”

“I totally get that!” Jill exclaimed.

“I didn’t want to be the one single gal at the party and have everybody patronize and pity me, so I rented a date. However, I got so much more.”

“What do you mean?” asked Jill. “What was the night like?”

“We made the rounds when we first got there and greeted everybody. I introduced him as my new boyfriend.”

“Did people buy it?”

“Sure. He played the part so well. He was attentive, romantic and laser focused on me. I mean, don’t get me wrong, he talked to other people there, but I was his focus, and it felt really good. He was educated and well-traveled, and we spent a lot of time on the balcony talking about our careers and various interests. They actually had to call us in to sing Happy Birthday to my sister.”

“Sounds like an amazing time!”

“It was! He held my hand, got me drinks, kissed my neck, and just made me feel really special. I haven’t felt like that in a really long time.”

Jill’s phone rang. When she answered, she could hear Sarah’s voice on the other end.

“Oh my gosh, it was amazing!”

“It was exactly like the fantasy I envisioned. He picked me up, and we were both dressed to the nines. I wore my fancy black, beaded dress and he wore a tux!”

“Seriously?”

“Really? That is so romantic.”

“We went to the opera, and he was such a gentleman holding the doors for me and holding my hand during the performance,” said Jill. “Then we went for our fancy romantic dinner, and after we ate, he fed me chocolate covered strawberries.”

“Oooooh. Nice touch. That means he wanted you.”

“I know. And believe me, I wanted him too,” said Jill.

“Well…?” asked Sarah.

“Well what?”

“Did you?”

“Did I what?” asked Jill.

“You know what I’m asking!” exclaimed Sarah.

“I’ll never kiss and tell. I’ll just simply say that he was the perfect date who absolutely hit the right spot!”

As an executive for a technology company, you just successfully launched a new product for the that is taking the marketplace by storm. From there, you venture over to Pier 41, where you catch a ferry that whisks you to Angel Island in less than thirty minutes. On this island, Hugh makes you truly feel like an Angel as he holds your hand amidst the spectacular vistas of San Francisco and Marin County. He whispers sweet nothings in your ear, causing the heat within you to build into a molten inferno. Feeling flushed, you depart the island and head for storybook-like Sausalito. There you dine at “Fish,” a local hot spot dedicated to sustainable local seafood and organic produce. At the picnic table, you share your Crab Roll with Hugh, and he shares his Fish Taco plate with you. After your meal, you stroll arm-in-arm along the yacht-sprinkled docks, enjoying the sounds of the lapping ocean.

On the cable car ride back, Hugh holds you a little tighter as the car sways through the city. You end the evening at the Make-Out Room for the return of Cocker Power, an annual tribute to Joe Cocker’s Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tour/Album/Film. Here, you and Hugh can get a taste of each other and stoke the heat that has been building inside of you all day long. We don’t normally do any social or political posting here, but the loss of life in Orlando in the worst mass shooting of our country’s history cannot be ignored. So we will go off topic briefly for one blog, because when you think about it, it’s really not that far off topic.

You will notice we did not comment on social media about the tragedy in Orlando. That doesn’t mean we don’t grieve for those that lost their lives or were injured Sunday night at the Pulse nightclub. We, like everyone else, are devastated by this criminal act. However, as a business, we did not feel it was our place to comment on the situation. We know that we are often a diversion from real life or reality, so we will continue to provide that diversion from the saturation of coverage of and commentary on this tragedy from all around.

Our hearts bleed for the families, loved ones, and friends of the victims during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are also with the first responders who ran toward the carnage to prevent further loss of life and provide aid and comfort, as well as the hospital staffs that have tended to the injured and their families. We thank the generous individuals who have rallied around the Orlando community by donating blood, money and other resources.

Good will always overcome evil.

Amber and I are in charge of planning our girlfriend Crystal’s bachelorette party. We live in Miami, one of the hottest cities in the country, so this should be easy, right? Wrong! We have really struggled to figure out how to make this send off a total blast.

We decided to search for ideas on the Internet. While looking for some male entertainment, we stumbled onto the Cowboys 4 Angels companion agency. Before the party, Amber and I decorated her living room with naughty décor and set up the graphic, “large” cake! This was the location for the pre-party before we headed out to hit the clubs. Our group of gals love a great party, and we’re sure this one will top anything we’ve ever done before.

As the girls arrived, we handed out appropriately themed costume necklaces that matched the stir sticks for the drinks. As we hung out drinking, sharing stories and laughing, our Cowboy Lucas arrived with a smile. He was dressed to perfection and was truly beautiful. The girls were obviously stunned as he worked his way around the room chatting a bit with everyone. He made sure to pay special attention to Crystal since she was the guest of honor. She sat on his lap, chatting it up with him, before the rest of us got ready for his performance.

Lucas went to the bedroom to change and get ready while the rest of us waited in eager anticipation. When he emerged, he was in his firefighter outfit.

“Hey ladies! I heard that this party was extremely hot,” he said. “I also heard that one or more of you just might have a fire that needs to be quenched!”

With that, we cranked the music and he started the show. Lucas danced like a dream and the temperature definitely rose higher! Then he tore off his firefighter uniform and showcased his incredible moves. His body was out-of-control ripped. Every inch was chiseled. He danced with each of us and made us all feel extremely hot.  Then our bride-to-be got a special treat. Seated in a chair in the middle of the room, Lucas danced and shimmied himself all over Crystal as she giggled and squealed in delight. I’ll just say, he definitely has the total package!

Once his performance was done, he changed clothes again and joined us in the limo to head to the clubs. He was the perfect companion dancing with all of the girls and protecting us while we were in the clubs. Lucas absolutely ramped up the heat on the bachelorette party. Crystal loved it all and had a blast at her final-hurrah party. The rest of the girls had a blast too and wanted more Cowboy.

Turns out, our group of friends got the chance to see our dashing Cowboy again! Amber needed a date for Crystal’s wedding, and after she saw Lucas in action, she wisely decided to rent him for the wedding! One other girl at the party, Sandy, followed suit. She chose Shane as her date for the wedding.

Amber and Sandy clearly had the hottest dates at the wedding and had some of the most fun! Not only did they dance up a storm but they were so romantic with them, holding their hands, whispering in their ears, and looking at them with a gleam in their eye. They were total gentlemen, and the eyes of many of the guests were on them.  To everyone in attendance, they looked like very attentive boyfriends. They truly looked like one of those lucky couples you always envy.

When Amber and I had to head into the dressing room to bustle Charlotte’s wedding gown, Lucas was completely comfortable chatting with the other guests in the lobby while he waited for her. He started a natural conversation about sports with our friend’s husband, who later said Amber was with “a great guy.”

Dear Garren,

As you know, each year I treat myself to a Vegas trip for a weekend with Bradley Lords. I just had to write to say thank you for creating the Cowboys 4 Angels agency and for selectively choosing only the very best men to be part of the agency. I admire the attention to detail and quest for quality in everything you do. More importantly, I admire the thoughtful manner in which you treat every Angel who comes to you, including me. You seem to truly understand how important these meetings are for us and the impact your men can have.

The past year has been a rather difficult one, so I was looking forward to my rendezvous with Bradley even more than normal. I must say, that man never disappoints! Not only is he gorgeous, but he is educated and cultured as well. When I am with him, I am transported to another world. All my worries and cares fade away, and nothing else exists but the two of us.

We met for dinner on the top floor of The Palms Casino Resort at the Alize restaurant. Bradley was there waiting for me like my own private Adonis. When I walked in, it was as if we picked up right where we had left of last year. He made me feel as if I was the only woman in the world with his undivided attention. I must admit, there are times I wish I didn’t have to back home to the real word. I suppose every client says that though.

He was dressed to perfection in an elegant suit that matched my dress almost perfectly. He exuded an air of sophistication that made me feel as if I had been transported to another country. I noticed that all eyes were on us no matter where we went, and as a result, I felt very special. This amazing man, that everyone was envious of, was all mine for the weekend.

Just walking to the dinner table evoked a sense of excitement. It was wonderful to see Bradley again. I know he could sense that I was stressed initially, so he set out to soothe my nerves and make me forget about the rest of my life, even if just temporarily. He probed just enough to understand my mood without causing me to focus on anything outside of the two of us. I felt reassured by his caring interest in my well being.

We talked about life, the universe and 42. Bradley is a deep thinker. With his looks and intellect, one might think he would be a very cocky guy, but nothing could be further from the truth. He is so down to earth! With an easy smile and engaging wit, he got me to relax and had me laughing in no time at all. He made it so easy to just block everything else out and focus on us.

Bradley is refreshingly honesty, willing to call it like he sees it. He is not interested in being politically correct and trying to please everyone, nor is he a know-it-all like so many guys can be. He is comfortable in his skin and genuine in his dealings with others.

Bradley clearly understands women. This man, who is so chiseled and masculine, gets the female psyche. I’ve never felt so understood. He even notices little things about me that I don’t see in myself. He clearly has a keen intuition. While he is sensitive and caring, at the same time he exudes an aura of control and protection. When I am with him, I know I am in amazing hands and have nothing to fear. He is so comfortably in control that I can give up control for a change.

Bradley evokes feelings in me each year that every woman should get to savor at some point in their life. Thank you, Garren, for your commitment to taking care of us. Thank you for choosing men who are not only handsome, but men of character and conviction. I am already looking forward to meeting Bradley again.  It’s going to be a long year!

A Faithful Angel Client

Living in Northern California, Suzanne felt the need to just get away for a weekend. Work had been relentless for about six months, and she just needed some down time. She decided to make the drive down to Orange County for a little R&R. Tired of always being along, she decided to investigate whether there were any male companion agencies in the area. Surely there had to be!

As she Googled male companion for the area, she came across a company she had never heard of – Cowboys 4 Angels. It’s a nationwide company, not local, but they have several men in Orange County.  Looking at their website, she was surprised she had not heard of them. They seemed to be everywhere in the press. Suzanne was impressed, so she decided to call the number. She was utterly surprised that it was the CEO who answered the phone. Garren walked her through availability of the men in Orange County, and Suzanne ultimately decided on Michael. She had a couple of day to fantasize about what this weekend might be like with Michael before she hits the road to head South.

After a smooth drive, Suzanne checks into her hotel. She decides to spend the afternoon relaxing for a bit on the beachfront property of the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point and then it the spa for a massage. After soaking in some sun, she sips a green tea as the fresh scent of eucalyptus wafts through the spa as she waits for her massage at the hotel’s serene spa. Swathed in a fresh, white terrycloth robe, she sinks into the recline of the chair and relaxes. Even as she clears her mind, thoughts of her upcoming meeting with Michael make her heart start racing. She sips her tea again as she is called back to the room. As the massage starts, Suzanne imagines it is Michael with his hands all over her body and drifts into oblivion.

Suzanne’s male companion Michael emerged into the dining room of Marche Moderne in Costa Mesa, and his gorgeous eyes widened as he exclaimed, “Whoa.” Suzanne glanced over her shoulder to see what drew his attention and blushed when she realized that he was taken aback by laying eyes on her. She felt a rush of crimson creep up face while pleading with herself, “Stop being so flustered! He’s just another guy…right?!” Over wine and a starter of Calamari, they chatted easily, as if they had known each other for ages. After sharing the tender Steak Tartare and the succulent Scallops, they walked leisurely through the nearby South Coast Plaza Shopping Center. With stores like Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, and even La Perla, the shopping sanctuary promises a treasure trove of luxurious finds during the day, but at night its décor sparkles romantically, making Suzanne feel like she and Michael were alone to enjoy it privately.

Once back at the hotel, they grabbed a nightcap in the bar and then walked along the beach. It was a gorgeous, warm evening. As Michael put his arm around her shoulder, Suzanne felt even warmer. As they stopped and embraced, the rest of the world faded away in the darkness.

In the morning, they grabbed a cup of coffee and light breakfast at Irvine’s 850C Bakery Café before heading out for Michael to show Suzanne the sights. Since Michael is from Southern California, he is well equipped to play the perfect tour guide. The first stop is the La Galette Creperie and then getting their feet wet while dipping them in the San Juan Creek. Then, Michael took Suzanne to the Casa Romantica Gardens. While they toured, they engaged in heady conversation about the state of the economy, foreign policy, and the justice system before switching to more lightweight topics (like the virtues of wearing white before Memorial Day!). They then head to the beach at Seahorse Resort at The Pier where Michael shepherded Suzanne toward the waves telling her he was going to teach her to surf. Suzanne was mortified but intrigued at the thought of riding the waves. As an expert surfer, Michael patiently taught her how to hang loose and find her rhythm on the board.

Suzanne donned her red cocktail dress and matching red lipstick (of course) for their evening out. They had tickets to the show at the Orange County Pavilion Performing Arts Theater in Santa Ana. When Michael saw her dressed, he let out a low whistle with a wink and produced a bouquet of red roses in a hue that perfectly complimented Suzanne’s ensemble. Suzanne and Michael took their seats, the lights dimmed, and she felt his hand in the palm of hers. Suzanne subtly glanced at him out of the corner of her eye and felt his hand squeeze hers tighter for a split second as if to say, “I got ya.” When the one-act play concluded, they headed downstairs to The Vault V.I.P. Lounge for live jazz and spirits.

Suzanne couldn’t have imagined a more perfect weekend as they sat snuggled together. She would definitely be using Cowboys 4 Angels again!
