As you know, we are all about female empowerment, pleasure and satisfaction. Recently we read an article about a website/app that allows women to take control of their pleasure, so we are sharing that information with you. Angels, if you’ve never heard of the site, it’s worth exploring.

According to the National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior (NSSHB), 91 percent of men reported having an orgasm during their last sexual encounter. Only 64 percent of women could say the same.  Essentially, the orgasm gap is nearly as wide as the wage gap.

Enter OMGYES, an interactive online encyclopedia of pleasure. Basically, OMGYES aims to close the orgasm gap. The idea is simple. Ask a lot of women what feels good to them, find the patterns, and then teach other women how to do those moves.

OMGYES Intro Video

Co-founders Lydia Daniller and Rob Perkins had a research team interview 1,000 women about how they like to be touched and then commissioned Kinsey Institute researcher, Dr. Debby Herbenick, and Dr. Brian Dodge at Indiana University, to conduct a nationally representative survey of another 1,000 women. This qualitative and quantitative research forms the basis of their recommended techniques.

It’s like you’re handed a map when you are born and told there’s treasure somewhere but you have to find it. OMGYES has colored in the paths that many other women have successfully used to find the treasure. Learning where the paths that tend to work are located seems like such an obvious win.

In addition to the technical knowledge in descriptions and videos on OMGYES, the site also features “touchable technology,” interactive images that can be touched, rubbed, tapped, and flicked to practice the recommendations. The interactive images were constructed from dozens of still photographs and programmed by engineers in cooperation with the women who posed for them, and they react with a level of realism that is startling.

Academic researchers jumped at the opportunity to work on the project because it provided them with an unprecedented opportunity to investigate women’s preferences in great detail, a typ of research that doesn’t often get funded.

For instance, did you know that nearly two-thirds of women like to be brought close to orgasm, then suddenly let back down? Neither did anyone else, apparently, until this joint research venture took place.

Think of OMGYES as an advanced guide for men, women, and couples who want to step up their game. Women can use the information for their own exploration and enjoyment, share the information with their lover, or explore the site as a couple. However you decide to use the available information, this is advanced carnal knowledge.
