Let Out Your Inner Rockstar

As a the daughter of a minister growing up in the Deep South, Holly was anything but the wild child. She was raised in an environment that children should be seen and not heard, girls should go to college to find a suitable husband and if they wish to seek a career, it should be something in a profession like nursing or teaching, so they will be more prepared to leave the workforce, have babies, raise them and take care of the home for their husband. While Holly had nothing against this way of life for other women, her friends whom aspired to lead a good southern girl’s lifestyle, she knew from an early age it was not her cup of tea. As soon as she could, she broke free of her father’s reign, accepted a scholarship to the Fine Arts program in NYU, where she would follow her dream of becoming a curator at a well-known art museum, while living in New York City. Just as she planned, Holly fulfilled her lofty professional dreams, and has achieved immense success in the art world, in New York City, as well as internationally. However, she still found herself being made to feel that she shouldn’t make too much noise, that she should still follow the rules, maintain a dainty and lady-like persona and submit to her male counterparts and colleagues. Holly was ready for a different kind of night, and she knew Pierce would be game! Just as Pierce entered the bar, Holly turned around and their eyes locked on one another, it was almost as if that first moment was happening in slow motion. In his true rock-n-roll leather jacket, with his sunglasses he was removing, Holly was almost totally swept away by just how sexy he and his entire being was. The two greeted one another, and started the date off with a few drinks, as they began to get to know one another. Before they started their second drink, they were laughing hysterically, he was whispering funny and sweet things into her ear, she was becoming captivated by his charm, and she was already extending her date to last much longer! Over the course of the next several hours, the two drank, danced, laughed, partied, even crowd-surfed, while they worked their way bar and lounge-hopping around downtown New York City. By the time the night came to an end, Holly was ready to book her next exhilarating date with a male companion!
