Romantic Stroll Under the Cherry Blossoms

One of Sarah’s longest loves has always been good ole’ Mother Nature. As a young girl, she loved escaping to the outdoors, climbing trees, playing in the river, walking through the woods and more. She often found solace whenever she was in nature by herself, it was where she went when she was upset, confused, angry, as well as happy and yearning for adventure. Throughout her young adulthood, she began seeking romantic partners who also enjoyed and appreciated nature as much as she did, or were at least willing to try, which then began her new journey of mixing the two aspects of her life which brought her the most joy, nature and romance. Over the past few months, living and working in the nation’s capital, combating the daily grind of overpopulation, traffic, public transportation, snow, sleet and frigid weather, has of course been anything but relaxing and romantic. However, now that winter has finally come to an end, and springtime has begun, with all of the flowers blossoming again, the greenery becoming lush again, and most famously those cherry blossoms were out in full bloom and she couldn’t take her eyes off of them every day when she was out walking around her dear Washington D.C. The only thing she was missing in this special season was a male companion to take a romantic stroll with her under the cherry blossoms.

So far, the only parts of the date Sarah had planned were where she and her male companion would meet for drinks to begin getting to know one another, before they headed over to the Tidal Basin area to walk along the Potomac and stroll under the cherry blossom trees. She’d chosen to meet for late afternoon cocktails in downtown D.C., which was not only near the rows of cherry blossom trees people travel from all over the world to come see during springtime and also the area of D.C. she worked in, so if was super convenient to her. Of course, the time of day was perfect, so by the time they were fully acquainted and becoming connected, while they headed over and took their stroll under the cherry blossoms, the setting sun would make for the classically romantic experience Sarah was yearning to have with her male companion. By the time Andrew and Sarah’s arms were locked and they were sharing intimate stories and moments beneath the cherry blossom trees, with the petals swirling in the wind, surrounding them while they leisurely walked the paths along the Potomac River, Sarah had completely forgotten about any of the worries or cares she’d had prior to this moment. Just like always, she could count on the beauty and magic of nature to envelop her and make her feel rejuvenated, but now she added something else to her repertoire of what could make her feel this same way and more, spending time with a handsome male companion!
